Why the two party system sucks

Our system is set up to make people wonder why they put their time and money behind a candidate, when their choice isn't the one who gets the nomination. The two party system is set up to be partisan.

I feel lucky since I don't like any of the candidates and don't vote, I can just sit back and watch.

But I do understand how biter people are over what is going on in the Democratic party right now. Why would we expect people to switch who they support just because they are affiliated with a party?

Why can't we have multiple candidates from all parties be on the ballot? Then we can destroy the electoral college and make it a popular vote.

Why do we have a hundred choices when it comes to buying a pair of jeans or most any other product but truly only two choices when it comes to such a seemingly important job?

Oh yeah it comes down to money. You need to be rich or have the backing of a lot of rich companies to become president.

Our system is so broken.

She Just Can't Stop

This article is why the Democrats will lose.

Sure there are plenty of Republican that hate McCain but still support their parties decision.

Lucky for me I hate both parties and think both the incumbent candidates suck.

Face It. We Are Poorer.

Excerpt from THIS article:

When you have a loss of wealth, the best way to cope is to accept it and adapt to a lower standard of living, sooner rather than later. Sending out rebates, eliminating gas taxes, bailing out homeowners and accelerating monetary growth, among the proposed remedies, do exactly the opposite. They spare us the obligation of dealing with reality by making us feel richer so we can keep on as we were before.
